Topsoil (BS3882:2007 Specification)

Willow Waste Ltd has always complied with relevant British Standards for topsoils. Furthermore, we have updated our testing procedures to ensure we fully support the new BS Specification for "Topsoil and Requirements for Use". This means that our customers can rest assured that the topsoils we sell are fit for their intended purpose.

Topsoil is an important component of most landscape projects and to maintain standards the British Standards Institute produced and published BS3882.

The first version of the standard was introduced in 1965 and was intended to provide a simple description and classification of topsoil for use in landscape work.

The standard was updated in 1994 and again in 2007 to give us BS3882:2007, the third edition of the Specifications for Topsoil.

Willow Waste can source and supply any grade of topsoil with accompanying analysis. We can deliver your topsoil either on tippers, grab lorries or, if required, 1 tonne bags. Please contact our team to discuss your project requirements.
